Anyways if you guys are real watchers then for one thing thank you very much for caring but you should also know that I have submitted a poem 2 times for a contest called Reflections. Well the last one I did there was a list of past themes on the back page of the entry rules that dated all the way back to 1969. If my math is good *coughcalculatorcough* then that should be about 42 themes plus next years theme minus the two I have already done. I may be taking brakes now and then to work on project themes that my new mentor should be giving me and if I get ideas for random poems but yeah. Wish me luck!! Insert countdown/cheesy monologue to VICTORY!!!

I know it's been a while since I've been on here and any kind of following I had built up is probably long gone but I'm getting desperate. My best friend in the whole wide world lost her oldest brother to addiction just a month or two ago and living an hour away has prove to be horrible when trying to comfort her. Luckily she met a troubled young man with a wonderful soul and heart who quickly became her friend and did everything he could to take her mind off the pain when I couldn't be there to do so. Contests
Now idk about the rest of the literature artists here on DA but I feel . . . Idk what I feel I can't think of the proper word for. All I know is that when I enter a contest that says all mediums allowed i feel that literature should be able to stand a chance against drawings. I mean a writer is just as much an artist as a painter. I work really hard on my poetry, especially when I plan on entering it into a contest so it really hurts when nobody but other writers even stop to give me the time of day. Ok for the non-artistic type this is gonna sound so stupid but I am having a mental breakdown right now. I've moved to college and somewhere along the way I've lost my poetry journal. I have have stuff written in there that I don't have copies of. It's not even just my poetry journal. I have important private stuff in there. Whenever I feel upset I write in it. Whenever I have notes I write it in there. Whenever I have random ideas I write in there. That is the journal I write everything in. Without it this account would be empty.
