I know it's been a while since I've been on here and any kind of following I had built up is probably long gone but I'm getting desperate. My best friend in the whole wide world lost her oldest brother to addiction just a month or two ago and living an hour away has prove to be horrible when trying to comfort her. Luckily she met a troubled young man with a wonderful soul and heart who quickly became her friend and did everything he could to take her mind off the pain when I couldn't be there to do so. Due to his past he has had many difficulties landing and keeping a job. Just last week he ended up in a car accident where luckily he was uninjured. Sadly his car was totaled and since the accident was technically his fault he will not be able to buy a new car. My friend is very upset and wants to do everything she can to get him going again. Since he needs a car to get a new job to get money to get a new car to get a new job (that can go on forever), he's a little stuck. We started a gofundme page to raise money to get him a new car as a surprise but so far we've only gotten a couple dozen views and no donations. So in desperation I turn to my last platform of communication. Please, if you can't donate anything, I beg that you at least spread the word about Steves Support. In a world where everyone has given up on troubled soul we are the last leg that he can stand on.

Now idk about the rest of the literature artists here on DA but I feel . . . Idk what I feel I can't think of the proper word for. All I know is that when I enter a contest that says all mediums allowed i feel that literature should be able to stand a chance against drawings. I mean a writer is just as much an artist as a painter. I work really hard on my poetry, especially when I plan on entering it into a contest so it really hurts when nobody but other writers even stop to give me the time of day. I tell you the world is coming to pieces. I love drawings as much as the next person but poetry can be just as appealing to the minds eye as drawings are. Poetry just takes more work than people want to actually do. I feel either DA should have more contests exclusively for writing or actually give writing a chance in these big shot contests they keep putting up. I worked really hard on my MAMA contest poem and yet nothing. I feel like I might as well just be a guest in this community.

Ok for the non-artistic type this is gonna sound so stupid but I am having a mental breakdown right now. I've moved to college and somewhere along the way I've lost my poetry journal. I have have stuff written in there that I don't have copies of. It's not even just my poetry journal. I have important private stuff in there. Whenever I feel upset I write in it. Whenever I have notes I write it in there. Whenever I have random ideas I write in there. That is the journal I write everything in. Without it this account would be empty. I've been writing any poems on my iPad but since my iPad is my personal computer I can't post anything here without having to go back and forth between the Internet and my notes. That's a lot more work then it sounds. Ugggggghhhhh!!!! Where is it?!?! I'm lot without it. I miss my baby. I swear if its in storage I'm gonna have a heart attack. Mommy I have a headache.
