I'm not one to play
I'm not one to love
Not the way you do
I care for you
I care for many
I try to care for all
But the line between
Caring for you
And being head over heals
In tortuous love
It's way too thin
At least to my liking
I steer clear
But you still try to pull me in
I'm on thin ice over here
But at least the water is shallow
The consequences are smaller
If by chance I happen to fall
If I fell next to you
Then I'd fall in deep waters
I'm not ready for that
I wouldn't make it
I can't fall now
I have to go
I'm gone
Hey it's me again
I came here in search
I need an easy ride through life
I still don't plan on falling
I keep on telling myself that
It's been decades
It's been years
It's been months
And days
And hours
And seconds
Way too late
You're here
Looking for me
I smile
I stare at my feet
Hold my breath
Build up my strength
Looking up
I see your knees
I'm feeling confident
I see your chest
I'm stalling now
I see your chin
I'm wavering
I see you face
I'm losing faith
I see your eyes

Idk I was thinking about how I feel so unsure and completely uncomfortable when it comes to the topic of love and relationships. I tend to have trust issues when it comes to people outside of my family and my closest best friends. Then when I was browsing deviantart I kept noticing all these pics and stuff about peoples hearts actually stopping when seeing someone they like so yeah. Whatever. Don't be too harsh please. 
Edit: Over the next few days (maybe even weeks) I will be editing a lot of my work as I try to prepare them for my book, yes book. If you have been reading my journal you'd know that. Anyways I'm sry if I flood your messages but I want to know when they are good and when they suck. Thank you for your time. lol
